with a historic building comes  cultural responsibility

The Maison Bergdorf is a chalet villa built in 1897, that we recently renovated and furnished with an eclectic mix of antique, modern and contemporary furniture and artworks.

Our house has three spacious Parlours, equipped with cosy sofas, armchairs, a writing desk and tables. Cuddle up in front of the open fireplace or use the library to swap a book. There are also two beautiful huge verandas, a covered terrace and the garden, in which you may roam.Table metalwork Zurich and the light «Tolomeo» from Artemide. The suite with parrot wallpaper and sea-blue Walls consists of two rooms with a cozy, from the carpenter built in fir wood Sitting area. Light (Menu)

You are welcome to use the three ground floor parlours,

Our hosts Bea and Martin are at the house each morning from 8 to 12 am and in the afternoon between 4 to 7 pm and are there for anything you may need or want to know.

Maison Bergdorf is situated in aquiet neighbourhood just five walking minutes from Interlaken's famous "Höhematte", the central meadow, and the beautiful castle grounds.

You can reach Maison Bergdorf either on foot (15 minutes from both Interlaken West and Interlaken East train stations) or take bus number 102 to "Zentrum Artos" (5 minutes). Look for the black MAISON BERGDORF signs between houses 38 (a brown apartment block) and house 36 a (a white one-family house). Our house is at the end of the little alleyway.
